This trip starts in the Geilo region, before it continues north towards the Sognefjord region and Jotunheimen National Park. 

Itinerary

On this roundtrip you can start your journey at Geilo – the hotspot for adventurers of all kinds. Spend a few days there, before travelling to Tyin-Filefjell which is a perfect basecamp for snowshoeing and guided adrenaline-filled adventures. Finish up your stay at Bygdin, where you can enjoy the sound of silence and feel the snow crackle under your feet.

With its long-standing tradition as a mountain resort, the Geilo region has been a hotspot for adventurers of all kinds for more than a century. Even though this town is arguably most famous for its alpine skiing, it is also a great basecamp for other kinds of winter adventures.

With Filefjellstuene lodge as a basecamp there are plenty of winter adventures to be conquered. The region is known for various outdoor activities, such as snowshoeing, cross-country skiing and ski touring.

Enjoy the sound of silence and feel the snow crackle under your feet as you breathe in the fresh air from a mountain top. On clear days you can get a panoramic view into the Jotunheimen National Park - best experienced during the golden hour for a magical moment to remember.
